Albert (A.J.) Minette

A.J. Minette (class of 2010, Instrumental Studies) is pursuing a Masters degree in guitar at the prestigious Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California where he studies with William Kanengiser, a member of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. In addition to his current academic work, A.J. maintains a large studio of private guitar students, and provides lessons for guitarists at LMU. While a student at LMU he studied guitar with Dr. Martha Masters.

Along with his classical guitar studies, A.J. is guitarist and songwriter for the band The Human Abstract. They released their latest CD, "Digital Veil," in January 2011 on Hopeless Records. The Human Abstract has toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada and has participated in festivals such as Warped Tour. Many of their music videos have been aired on MTV.
